Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper – Haven Hills Inc – Canoga Park, CA

Haven Hills, Inc. is a private 501-c-3 nonprofit agency providing services to victims of domestic violence in the west San Fernando Valley for the past 37 years. The Agency is seeking a non-exempt part-time Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper with a minimum of two years experience to perform accounting and bookkeeping functions under the supervision of the Financial Director. Job duties include but are not limited to payroll processing; accounts payable; recording cash receipts; reconciling monthly deposits reports; maintaining fixed asset records; and assisting with month-end closing activities, fiscal review and annual audit preparation. Minimum qualifications include detailed oriented, well-organized, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, understanding ADP payroll, accounts payables, accounts receivable, cost allocation and journal entries. Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge accounting software or equivalent is a must. Salary range is $15,500 to $18,000 depending upon experience.
