Job Description:

Our client, a prominent national entertainment industry labor organization (the “Organization”) is seeking well-qualified candidates for the position of Chief Financial Officer to join its Senior Executive team. The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Organization’s National Executive Director and will supervise and oversee all financial affairs and accounting-related activities of the Organization.

Responsibilities:

In charge of all aspects of financial management disciplines, including accounting, payroll, financial and regulatory reporting, income taxes, banking relations, investment management, insurance and financial systems.
Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives.
Maintain strong relationships with the Executive Team to identify their needs and provide business solutions.
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance.
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, MBA and/or CPA desired.
Minimum of 10 years in a senior financial position preferably in a medium to large professional services environment.
Must have high level of written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage and communicate well at all levels of the organization and with staff at all locations.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
