The Center for Food Safety (CFS), a non-profit, membership-based food and environmental advocacy organization, is seeking applications for a Development Associate in its San Francisco office. CFS’s mission centers on protecting public health, the environment, and farmers by challenging the impacts of potentially harmful food production systems. CFS issue areas include: genetic engineering, organic foods, factory farming, pesticides, food labeling, global warming, food safety, nanotechnology, and more.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare grant applications and report for foundations
Assist in planning fundraising events
Conduct donor follow-up including database updates and acknowledgment letters
Provide other administrative support as needed
Other activities and projects as directed
