Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Annual Campaign Manager, supports the goals and projects of the direct response fundraising program at PPGNH and provides stewardship of workplace, patient, staff and workplace giving programs.
Essential Functions
Supports direct response fundraising by managing online and digital fundraising, establishing and managing the moves-management system for new supporters through mid-level donors, and ensuring unique and coordinated welcomes and asks. Designs and manages an annual plan for patient, staff and workplace giving across all four states, including setting annual goals and stewarding donors in these categories.
Major Responsibilities:
Support of Annual Fund:
Working in tandem with the Annual Campaign Manager and with support from the Database Administrator, creates and manages online and digital fundraising components of direct response fundraising across the organization.
Manages and tracks the moves management system for identifying mid-level donors with the capacity to grow from annual fund donors to major donors, and creates targeted online and offline communications and solicitations aimed at fostering such growth.
Ensures new donor acquisition is supported by unique welcome series and manages asks across multiple donor constituencies.
Reports regularly on successes of the program, identifies trends in donor movement, and advises the development staff on cultivation and stewardship recommendations.
Patient Giving:
Designs and manages the patient giving program to provide options for each patient to give at their visit and beyond.
Prepares patient giving marketing materials and reports, shared across PPGNH.
Collaborates with Area Services Directors and Health Center Managers to develop patient messages and patient educational materials on making a donation.
Conducts Ask Trainings for Health Center staff.
Tracks ongoing feedback and outcomes on a monthly basis.
Researches best practices in patient giving to grow the program over time.
Staff Giving:
Designs and manages the PPGNH employee giving program.
Works with Human Resources to develop materials, create branded merchandising opportunities, and determine key outcomes and impact goals for program
Conducts regular cost/benefit analysis and balances streamlining of costs of programs with meeting goals.
Workplace Giving:
Coordinates workplace giving to PPGNH across multiple organizational partners, including the United Way, Combined Federal Campaign, and state and local private employers.
Tracks all workplace giving campaigns and ensures timely submission of applications for the four state region.
Collaborates with the Development team as needed and necessary to assure staff delegation at tabling or presentation opportunities.
Researches new work place giving opportunities for PPGNH within Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii and Washington.
Conducts regular cost/benefit analysis and balances streamlining of costs of programs with meeting goals.
Other Duties:
Supports the annual fund development goals with other special projects, as needed.
Participates in planning yearly calendar of cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and recognition activities for donors.
Contributes to weekly department meetings and annual strategy sessions.

Education:
BA/BS in a related field preferred
Experience:
At least one year of professional work experience.
Prior event planning experience is preferred along with a passion for creating stellar fundraising and stewardship opportunities through events.
Fundraising experience is desired – emphasis on major donor stewardship is highly valued.
Project management experience is also preferred.
Outstanding writing skills, computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and database usage (experience with the development software Raiser’s Edge is a plus).

Access to reliable transportation for local travel within the Seattle area – some travel is also required to attend events and meetings out-of-town.
