The Donor Advised Fund program of the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund is the third largest program of its kind in the United States. We service over 900 unique philanthropic funds with total assets-under-management exceeding $500MM. This critical position will join the Donor Advised Fund Team at a time of exciting growth. The primary function of this position is to provide best-in-class service to our existing client base. In addition this position will carry responsibilities for supporting strategic growth of the DAF program in a variety of ways.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Client Service & Fund Management
New DAF client onboarding
Assist DAF clients on day-to-day issues regarding all aspects of their funds
Communicate with grantees, as necessary, regarding fulfillment of grant requests
Receive, record and acknowledge contributions to Donor Advised Funds
Process grant recommendations for DAF clients
Process investment recommendations and liquidation needs
Administrative tasks, as necessary
Business Development
Assist with outreach for DAF business development through community engagement initiatives
Provide regular business development and strategic reports for staff and volunteers
Technology Support
First-line client support for online portal access and utilization
Manage online portal updates and communication process
Database Management
Maintain DAF client records as necessary in database
Manage statement delivery and communication process
New fund set-up and existing fund updates
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Strong client service background
Experience working with high net-worth individuals
Familiarity with Donor Advised Funds and DAF database use (FIMS preferred)
Knowledge of philanthropic operations, systems and best practices and reports.
Excellent computer skills, including word, excel, and Outlook, philanthropic database applications (FIMS and Raisers Edge) and admin roles with web-based customer applications.
Strong problem-solving skills in a team environment.
EDUCATION OR TRAINING EQUIVALENT TO:
Four year college degree or equivalent
