Donor Impact Manager – Liberty in North Korea – Torrance, CA

The Donor Impact Manager position is an essential management-level role that leads and oversees Liberty in North Korea’s development team in fundraising. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to recruit new donors and fundraisers (acquisition) and strengthening relationships with current donors and fundraisers (retention) to secure funding for LiNK’s life-changing work. This includes relational fundraising with high net worth individuals, grant writing, direct management of online fundraiser strategy, and leadership and management of Development staff (Development Interns and the Recurring Donor Impact Coordinator). Responsibilities

Develop and execute Liberty in North Korea’s annual fundraising plan
Secure financial support from foundations and individuals
Manage the implementation of our Donor Management system on the Salesforce platform and oversee staff or interns responsible for data entry and gift processing
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
Create and execute a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors
Oversee special events related to fundraising
Assist the CEO and Vice President in developing proposals for major donors
Oversee and implement strategy to recruit and build relationships with online fundraisers
Manage LiNK’s development coordinator and interns

Requirements

Knowledge of Salesforce
Experience supervising and leading a team towards fundraising goals
Grant writing experience
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of experience in development
