RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting in the implementing CCIL’s annual “Champions of Democracy” event in cooperation with committee members and volunteers.
Secure event sponsorships from major donors.
Secure ticket sales for the event.
Set up meetings for the Executive Director with important donors.
Maintain database of sponsorships and ticket sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. We will, however, consider non-degreed candidates with exceptional fundraising experience.
Experience as a fundraiser for political campaigns or nonprofit organizations or both.
Background in organizing large fundraising events.
Commitment to political reform and social and economic justice.
Strong empathy, ability, comfortableness, and desire to work in diverse settings.
Ability to multi-task and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to keep donor information confidential, as appropriate.
Willingness to work flexible hours—including occasional weeknights and weekends
Commitment to working as part of a team
Able to take initiative and a self-starter
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and current social media platforms required.
