Position Description
KRC’s Financial Empowerment and Housing Program seeks to educate low-income, immigrant clients on key financial concepts and provide the tools to effectively set financial goals, manage finances, avoid debt and build credit to bring about economic stability. Our program targets immigrants of all ages.
This position is responsible for coordinating services and programming for youth and adults to gain the knowledge, skills, confidence, and access to safe products for greater financial stability. Coordinator will work with clients to improve their credit, decrease debt, and increase their savings through Financial Coaching & Counseling Program and Lending Circles. The Coordinator will also support, youth financial literacy program which teaches basic money management skills through applied and interactive learning.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
All technical training provided by KRC and partners
A minimum of two years of experience providing direct services
Requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Works independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks and manage changing deadlines
Experience working with a diverse, and low-income community
Strong written and verbal communication
Proficient in Excel and Word
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Experience working in diverse communities
Fluent in Korean
