Gain valuable experience working with the Development Department to grow revenues to $10M+

Description
• Research prospective partners—corporate, foundation, and high net-worth individuals
• Input data into donor database, pull reports and analyze information
• Assisting with various components of fundraising campaigns such as volunteer recruitment, publicity, donor outreach, etc.
• Assist in donor acknowledgement and stewardship
• Assist in the planning and execution of special events
• Draft fundraising communications to both individual and corporate donors
• Assist in creating and editing of Association development materials and collateral
• Additional projects to be assigned based on intern interests and organizational needs

Preferred Skills:
• Open to both undergraduate and graduate students
• Studying or completed degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or Social Sciences preferred
• Interest in and enthusiasm for nonprofit organizations
• Passion for the mission of Meals on Wheels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products—particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work both independently and on a team
• Ability to work under pressure delivering a high degree of accuracy while meeting challenging deadlines.
