Lead Financial Analyst – Community Renewal Team of Greater Hartford – Hartford, CT

CRT’s Finance Department is looking for a full-time, permanent, Lead Financial Analyst.

Community Renewal Team helps individuals, families, and communities address the challenges they face in building a successful future. People of all ages turn to CRT for help with basic needs, relief during a crisis or support to make long term changes. We offer a wide variety of programs to residents of Central Connecticut from all backgrounds and income levels. Help can involve everything from childcare or housing to education or treatment.

Position Summary: Responsible for the development of budgets, financial monitoring and reporting for assigned programs and grants and providing direction and guidance to Financial Analysts. Work closely with Program managers to create internal program budgets on internal and funder forms and ensure the budget reflects accurate staff allocations (wage and fringe), essential indirect costs, and allowable administrative support.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred; Associates degree required. A minimum of three (3) years of related experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience required. Familiarity with Black baud preferred. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles, Fund or Governmental accounting practices and principles required. Proficiency in Windows, multiple financial software, MS Office with advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
