Major Gifts Officer – Asian Health Services HR Dept – Oakland, CA

To play leadership role in designing and implementing a major gifts & multiyear individual giving development plan for Asian Health Services, a nonprofit federally-qualified health center. The Major Gifts Officer has oversight of fundraising events as bridge to individual donor cultivation and development. Reporting directly to the Director of Program Planning and Development, this position will oversee all aspects of individual giving including major gifts, planned giving and capital campaigns. Thes position is Exempt and works closely with the CEO, the Board of Directors and the AHS Foundation Board on identifying, cultivating and stewarding individual donors. Other duties include recruitment, training, and supervising the Corporate Gifts & Events Manager, other development staff and volunteers. Qualifications: BA/BS degree plus 5 years donor development experience and 3+ years senior management responsibility, excellent analytical skills & drive to meet revenue goals. We prefer someone with healthcare advocacy &/or development background, familiar with Asian American community, bilingual/bicultural in any Asian language/culture.
