How many people can answer the question, “What do you do for a living?” with the answer, “I help find cures for cancer.” At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, employees at the local, regional and national level are working each day to make our mission a reality: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
The Senior Campaign Manager is responsible for all aspects of one of the chapter’s signature fundraising events – its annual Light The Night Walk held each fall in Seattle. He/she will lead a team of staff and high level volunteers, manage revenue generating activities as well as expense and fiscal controls, collaborate on marketing/promotions and oversee logistics of the walk as well as all supporting events that occur throughout the year.
To achieve success, the senior campaign manager will identify and network with corporations, community groups, schools and key donors to recruit and engage them in the Light The Night Campaign. He/she will ensure revenue goals are met by partnering with chapter leadership to identify, recruit, and steward volunteer committees and grow relationships with previous event participants.
LLS is looking for candidates with a minimum of 4 years of fundraising, sales, marketing and event planning experience, as well as experience successfully managing staff.

Requirements include:Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of relevant experience including experience in non-profit and volunteer management, with an emphasis on fundraising results.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to excellence.
Highly organized and professional; capable of working well with a variety of perosnalities and leadership stypes
Knowledge of MS Office Suite
Ability to work evenings or weekends when necessary.
