Position Overview
The Strategic Account Manager serves as the primary company representative for the strategy and implementation of programs and products specific to private sector partnerships. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing an entire portfolio of corporate/private partner relationships in multiple locations which may include overseeing preparation activities for campaign development, production, release management, post-implementation reviews, data tracking and key learnings. The Strategic Account Manager will liaise internally across functional teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as project manager and owner of product and program implementation,
Be responsible for the creation of detailed project maps of strategic sites and report progress, and goal completion to management,
Ongoing account management of key partner playlists post-launch, including growth/expansion, performance and functionality,
Work closely with BI/analytics to track key metrics to analyze performance of playlists, assure accuracy, provide projections, maintain consistency, and schedule routine reports,
Work closely with internal and external marketing team(s) to ensure mission and brand alignment, as well as maximum audience reach and engagement of end user(s),
Investigate, analyze and recommend solutions for partner implementation issues, including on-site visits, when appropriate, to maintain alignment and continued engagement,
Help improve products by notifying development team of problems and making recommendations that can assist in development of future features or offerings.
Develop and deliver product demonstrations to strategic partners, working closely with public and private sector sales team(s),
Responsible for representing platform to corporate partners and end users (including field events, such as conferences, panels, and/or workshops)
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate must have 5 years direct, relevant experience managing partner/customer relationships,
Demonstrated ability to develop clear understandings of client/partner needs and the ability to incorporate them into a solution,
Solid project management experience including: tracking the performance of an engagement, the quality of the deliverables and reporting on the effectiveness of the engagement
A passion for service delivery,
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills,
Ability to interface effectively with employees and clients at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also have the following preferred prior experience. skills and dispositions:
Experience working with municipal governments and agencies,
Knowledge of the culture and needs of non-profit as well as for-profit organizations,
Experience in professional services/consulting/customer service organization,
Prior experience in digital gaming and interactive learning,
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of professional experience in a relevant field
Advanced degree preferred
Working Conditions
Some travel to client/partner sites will be required, approximately 25%
