The Student Relations Associate Director will be responsible for managing the continued development and implementation of QuestBridge’s innovative student recruitment processes. Building upon QuestBridge’s unprecedented success in recruiting the nation’s most exceptional high school students from low-income backgrounds, the Associate Director will play a central role in taking QuestBridge recruitment to the next level. He or she will play a leading role in designing and executing both the strategy and implementation phases of QuestBridge recruitment. This will involve improving existing processes as well as defining creative, innovative directions for QuestBridge recruitment.

Roles and Responsibilities
Participate in building the strategic vision for QuestBridge Recruitment.
Manage QuestBridge’s recruitment outreach campaigns to tens of thousands of potential student applicants, educators and organizations nationwide (including finding new student data sources, content development, data processing, analytics, and student support).
Be data driven and use analytics to raise the bar and improve on already successful recruitment campaigns.
Contribute to the Student Relation’s education initiatives for high school students, Quest Scholars, Educators, Community Based Organizations and Alumni.
Take a leading role in developing and implementing tools, processes, and written content that will increase the effectiveness of QuestBridge’s recruitment operations.
Develop deep understanding of a wide range of U.S. regions and geographies and work closely with cutting-edge, innovative programs to amplify the organization’s reach with students in targeted regions (e.g. rural America), or who are interested in specific subjects (e.g., STEM and the Arts).
Participate in educating students about the college admissions and financial aid processes.
Provide guidance and support to students as they complete the QuestBridge application process.
Participate in other QuestBridge and Student Relations initiatives such as; Quest Scholar Network programming, annual conferences, calling campaigns, application reading, innovations groups, etc.
Perform other administrative and miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of full-time professional experience.
Passion for and knowledge of issues in education, ideally relating to access to higher education.
Knowledge of highly selective college admissions and financial aid processes.
Strong comfort with technology and data, with the ability to evaluate and advance current operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with superior writing and editing ability.
Demonstrated success in overseeing programs while working with key managers and outside constituents.
Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Process oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to understand and communicate complex processes in a straightforward way.
Heightened sensitivity to students from diverse backgrounds and a strong track record of handling sensitive personal information and situations.
Preferred:
Advanced skills with Excel (e.g., modeling, pivot tables, nested IF statements), experience with databases and database design, and background in statistical analysis.
Experience with marketing and/or communications, in both print and online/social media contexts.
Knowledge of HTML and SLATE.
Experience working with QuestBridge’s target population.
