SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for local/national marketing of licensing for two of our flagship programs:
• Enhance®Fitness Program – a highly regarded turnkey evidence-based physical activity program for older adults with a current presence in 40 states, predominately community based organizations and YMCA’s. Marketing efforts would key on commercial real estate developers of senior housing communities, large fitness chains, and large retirement communities. Healthcare providers and insurance companies slso will be prospects.
• Meals On Wheels Salesforce Application – a newly created application for a highly-regarded existing service. Market is any senior-serving organization providing Meals On Wheels [MOW] to clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and grow a new national corporate market for Enhance and a national market for MOW management with providers such as Senior Services.
Responsible for developing 10 new customers for Enhance this year worth $86,000, and 6 new customers for MOW worth $36,000.
Identify prospects and develop cultivation and solicitation strategies for each prospect;
Work collaboratively with the Project Enhance team to understand the program features, competitive differentiation and the importance of maintaining evidence-based program fidelity.
As the MOW application is ready for market, work closely with the MOW team to learn the program features and strengths along with criteria for customizing needed by customers.
Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and enhance skills that promote equity and inclusion.
Participate in events related to understanding institutional racism and other forms of oppression.
Perform other duties required/requested by the Chief Development Officer.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is highly desirable. Six (6) additional years of highly related experience may be substituted for the degree.
Minimum of 6 years documented successful experience in Business Development/Sales with Major Accounts.
Demonstrate knowledge of non-profit organization needs and funding streams.
Proficient in Salesforce system and application sales.
Demonstrated sales skills proficiency [through trainings or otherwise] and a knowledge of best practices in Business Development.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to relate to the customer sets, comfortable working in a non-profit setting and can develop the prospects for licensed application sales.
An understanding of the fitness industry, the changing insurance and healthcare environment, the competition and how Senior Services brings value is desirable
Well-organized and able to plan, implement and follow-up on multiple projects.
Ability to work independently and as a team player, pitching in as needed to assist.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals of widely diverse economic, ethnic, and social backgrounds
Must have valid Washington Driver’s License and access to an insured vehicle (Zipcar, for example).
