POSITION SUMMARY:
The Communications Analyst (Analyst) plays a key role in developing and executing LIIF’s national communications strategy. The Analyst will manage critical communications projects from concept through dissemination, such as the annual report and LIIF’s digital communications. This person must be creative, responsive and adept at gathering and synthesizing information from a range of sources. The Analyst will work with the Director of Communications (DC) to develop digital and print materials that convey LIIF’s mission and key messages and speak to LIIF’s wide array of stakeholders. The Analyst is also responsible for helping to support LIIF’s public relations efforts and maintain brand standards throughout the organization. The Analyst must be able to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with staff at a variety of levels across the organization and with external partners.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will be energetic and creative and have strong organization, project management and time management skills. Must be flexible, a self-starter and have excellent interpersonal skills. Position requires strong written and oral communications skills. Knowledge of affordable housing, community development or finance is helpful and experience with multi-family or commercial real estate loans is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with contact management systems and email and web management tools (ex. iContact, Salesforce, WordPress). Experience with design/layout software helpful and strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Excel preferred. Must be excited to learn and improve through testing and collaboration and enjoy working in a team environment.
