The Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley (HEBSV) Corporate Engagement Associate is responsible for ensuring the success and growth of HEBSV’s Team Building Program in Silicon Valley. The Corporate Engagement Associate’s primary role is fundraising for HEBSV by overseeing and engaging high profile Silicon Valley Corporate accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule, plan, and coordinate corporate Team Building events.
Work directly with high profile Silicon Valley companies (technology, medical, financial, etc.).
Harness philanthropic support within Silicon Valley.
Engage corporate partners through Habitat’s mission.
Regularly inform partners about Habitat’s current projects.
Develop new corporate relationships.
Maintain and grow existing corporate partnerships to their highest utility.
Attend Team Building events to further develop corporate partnerships.
Attend outreach, speaking, and development events on behalf of HEBSV (e.g. tabling, corporate awards, corporate development workshops).
Develop new fundraising strategies.
Collaboratively work with HEBSV staff to create innovative methods and goals for success.
Properly track, record, and project fundraising data.
Assist and manage relevant special events.
Meet or exceed annual budget goals.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience in non-profit corporate giving and relationship management.
An ability to represent oneself and the affiliate in a professional and engaging manner.
Experience working independently and in a team environment.
Strong computer skills and the capability to learn new software and database systems quickly.
A willingness to work remotely and on location across Silicon Valley.
A desire to maintain effective relationships with volunteers, donors, and HEBSV staff.
