Editor Internship – Borgen Project – Seattle, WA

The Borgen Project is an innovative, national campaign that is working to bring political attention to extreme poverty.

The Editor is responsible for reviewing and editing articles submitted by The Borgen Project’s national team of writers. The internship is 300-hours and can be completed part-time or full-time.

Upload, edit and approve articles submitted by writers.
Work with writers to improve their articles.
Coordinate with the Content Team Manager to address any issues.
Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Must be flexible. The Borgen Project is a small nonprofit and roles can change week-to-week depending on the need.

Qualifications: Must have great editing skills. Internships are unpaid. Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with very little supervision. Experience writing SEO friendly content is helpful, but not required.
