The Dispensary of Hope is a charitable medication distributor. Through innovative stewardship of the pharmaceutical supply-chain, the Dispensary of Hope collects and distributes millions of dollars of pharmaceuticals annually to charitable clinics and pharmacies to dispense to low income, uninsured patients. Pharmacies and clinics utilize Dispensary of Hope medication to address community health concerns as the cornerstone of avoidable hospital readmission programs and to reduce unnecessary emergency room use that often results from lack of access to affordable medication.
The Industry Relations Manager at the Dispensary of Hope (DoH) monitors quality of services and satisfaction amongst DoH’s collaborative of pharmaceutical donors in order to build and maintain relationships in the business community. Additionally, this position plays a critical role to recruit new donating members to the collaborative as well as develop relationships with state Boards of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates the development of pharmaceutical donation marketing literature and materials.
Provides training and guidance for new donor accounts.
Develops and presents donor prospect proposals based on company specific needs.
Assists in evaluating donor needs and makes recommendations for services.
Assists the DoH Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) in the strategic design to grow the pharmaceutical donor base.
Develops and manages recruitment events designed to acquire new pharmaceutical donors.
Analyzes supply chain trends and patters working closely with CSCO to ensure adequate medication supplies.
Assists in the development of a supply management IT solution and IT-enabled reporting.
Monitors, recognizes and responds to regulatory changes that impact supply chain safety and security.
Oversees monthly and quarterly donor engagement in accordance with supply chain performance needs and organizational goals.
Prepares donor reports and briefings, donor target list and other reporting requirements as needed.
Contribute to Mission effectiveness by promoting the spirit embodied within the Dispensary of Hope mission and its collaborative of partners.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree in marketing or business administration preferred
Work Experience:
Five years of business experience required, preferably in sales, operations, marketing or donor relations management.
Travel:
10% to 20% travel required
