VMM-USA is seeking a professional experienced grant writer. Duties may include the following:
Maintain a grant calendar
Write and submit applications that are tailored to the funder’s specific requirements
Prepare reports specifically required by the funders
Prepare reports for VMM Fund Development Committee/Board meetings, etc.
Develop and support VMM’s outreach to current donors and membership through newsletters, appeal letters and social media.
Organize annual Mission Appeals
Add grant information to donor database
Bridges production
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience professional fundraising experience with proven track record of successful grant writing for nonprofit organizations
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively
Bachelor’s degree
Proficient in research
Have the ability to work independently
Manage time effectively
Spanish speaking preferred
Work schedule and locations are flexible.
Position is a sub-contract agreement, commences immediately and will work untill June 30, 2016.
