The Habitat for Humanity ReStore Auction Channel (REACH) is a division of Morris Habitat for Humanity(MHFH) ReStore. The ReStore mission is to generate revenue through the sale of donated building materials and household items to support MHFH’s construction and operating budget. Through its efforts, the ReStore facilitates recycling, minimizes landfill waste, provides low-cost home improvement items, and increases Habitat’s visibility in our community. The objective of REACH is to stimulate and secure donations of valuable items that will achieve a greater return primarily through on-line sales than would be achieved on the ReStore selling floor.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with an unparalleled work ethic and desire to be the best. The ideal candidate is a hardworking perfectionist, eager to grow with the organization; a creative individual focused on developing an online auction presence for the ReStore.

You will be entrepreneurial minded – with the ultimate responsibility for all facets of this emerging business; creating a new electronic business unit helping Morris Habitat get on-line to help others buy and donate quality collectibles, artwork,jewelry, etc.

The ultimate goal is to have this new business unit exceed our brick and mortar revenue within a decade.

REACH will be overseen by a Manager of ReStore Online Auction Channel who will work closely and cooperatively with the ReStore Director and the CEO to meet annual revenue and profitability goals: The REACH Manager’s functional responsibilities will be implementing and driving the online auction channel. Operations management, including: consistent, safe and positive development of Associates and assets in order to provide a high quality donor to customer experience.
