Serve Your City, a DC based non-profit organization providing essential learning opportunities for underserved DC youth is looking for an intern to work as Marketing Coordinator. Candidate must be available 20-25 hours per/week.
Position is unpaid: 20-25 hours per/week (some weekends).
Description of Duties:
Establish a presence for us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
Identify social media approaches that yield a following, investment, interest and volunteerism
Identify and attend marketing events to promote organization
Generate Paper Marketing materials for tabling/events
Send out Public Relations Announcements
Required Qualifications:
Must have excellent oral/written communication skills
Must know how to operate most social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
Must possess good organizational skills
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products and/or Google products (i.e., Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
