Marketing / Partnership Communications Lead – LRNG by Collective Shift – Redwood City, CA

We are looking for a Marketing & Partnership Communications Lead to develop and manage plans, initiatives and tactics that will build LRNG’s brand and contribute to business outcomes.

The Marketing & Partnership Communications Lead will support all areas of brand and marketing communications with a particular focus on PR, events, and Social Media channels serving multiple audiences, including press, corporate partners, public sector partners, and donors.

This position requires excellent written and oral communications skills, outstanding project management skills, and the ability to drive coordination, discussions and decisions at all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate has previous marketing communications or PR experience and ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively across the organization, and deliver high-quality results on time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Work with CMBDO and Chief Brand Officer (CBO) to develop Marcom plans for LRNG that align closely with strategic objectives and quarterly OKRs of LRNG.
Manage creation and execution of marketing initiatives.
Develop marketing communications content, including PR briefs, social media and blog posts, event speeches, newsletters, and external partner presentations.
Ensure consistent integration of messaging across all communication channels at LRNG and our ecosystem. Establish a process for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring communications.
Manage Integrated Communications Calendar for all external LRNG communications including events, PR tours, and campaigns.
Provide PR and Social Media Guidance and training that ensures a consistent and aligned execution across the organization.
Proactively drive PR, social media, event placement and manage PR inquiries and media relationships.
Develop LRNG partner communication strategy, plans, and toolkits.
Ensure that PR and event presence is well executed and a high-quality representation of LRNG brand.
Track, measure and communicate the effectiveness of Marcom specific strategies.
Conduct periodic competitive audits.
Perform additional tasks as they relate to ongoing operations of LRNG’s Marketing team.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in PR, writing speeches and blog posts, managing social media presence, measurement and reporting.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Prior management experience with both staff and vendors.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time-management and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Desire to change the world, outgoing personality, and great sense of humor.
Working knowledge of nonprofit and tech sectors.

Education

BA/BS with a strong academic record. Degree in Marketing, PR, Journalism, or other relevant field.
7+ years of related experience.

Working Conditions

This position requires working in an office environment in the presence of electronics and computers.

Primary Location

This position will be primarily located in Redwood City, CA or remote as approved by manager.
