Patron Services Manager – Portland Baroque Orchestra – Portland, OR

The Patron Services Manager is a full-time, exempt employee who serves as the primary point of sales and service for Portland Baroque Orchestra (PBO) performances and events. As a primary point of contact for PBO subscribers, single-ticket buyers, and donors, this position requires excellent, detail-oriented customer relationship management. The Patron Services Manager carries primary responsibility for ticket sales for PBO productions, including incoming and outgoing active sales, phone response and in-person, and cross-selling and up-selling including additional ticket products and new gifts to the annual fund. The Patron Services Manager also manages patron concert services at PBO productions including house prep, door sales, and will-call; and maintains and updates ticket and patron databases, including accurate recording and regular reporting of income and sales data.

This position incorporates work hours during regular office hours as well as some evenings and weekend time blocks, as required by the concert and event schedule of PBO.

The Patron Services Manager reports to the Director of Development and Marketing (DDM), but also works closely with PBO’s Executive Director (ED), Director of Operations (DO), bookkeeper, and occasionally with volunteer or part-time office staff.
