POSITION SUMMARY:
The Public Sector Engagement Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager, Public Sector Engagement and the Medicines360 Commercial Team to (1) increase awareness of Medicines360 with public sector stakeholders and (2) work with our commercial partner to drive awareness and uptake of LILETTA (52mg levonorgestrel IUD) in 340B public health clinics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assessment and Planning:
Help assess the public sector market to understand the key market dynamics, payer and reimbursement landscapes, critical business drivers, stakeholder and customer needs, and opportunities to raise awareness and educate on Medicines360 and LILETTA in the public sector.
Help develop public sector engagement plans and goals focusing on interactions with (but not limited to); the commercial partner LILETTA Public Sector Manager and brand team, 340B public health clinic customers, Planned Parenthood, reproductive health associations, and women’s health professional Associations.
Help develop and update key stakeholder target and contact lists.
Help identify communication and education opportunities with public sector stakeholders (e.g. newsletters, educational events, etc.) and coordinate with the Medicines360 marketing and communications group to establish public sector communications plans and engagement material needs.
Public Sector Engagement:
Contact public sector stakeholders (based on defined target contact lists) by phone or in-person to discuss Medicines360 and LILETTA, including assisting in the ordering process and answering other questions or requests.
Regularly communicate and coordinate with the Medicines360 commercial team and our commercial partner on public sector engagement plans and outreach.
Coordinate with the Medicines360 commercial team to manage logistics and materials for conferences, symposiums, and other external events.
Attend public sector conferences and professional association congresses to help manage the Medicines360 exhibit and participate on the commercial exhibit of our commercial partner as appropriate.
Help support the planning and implementation of the Medicines360 speakers and Medicines360 educational events, including speaker IUD inserter programs (working in conjunction with the Medicines360 Medical Affairs group and commercial partner).
Help implement sponsorship opportunities.
Handle inquiries from people interested in Medicines360 and LILETTA.
Follow-up with public sector stakeholders on communications campaigns implemented by the Medicines360 commercial team.
Maintain effective contact reports using the Medicines360 public sector contact database system (Salesforce).
Track actual versus planned engagement activities and provide regular summary reports on public sector engagement activities.
Complete required training and ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of Medicines360 and our commercial partner, including those relating to customer interactions and engagement.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
5-8 years of relevant sales, advocacy or customer relations experience and a minimum of two years of experience in public sector health care. Pharmaceutical experience a plus.
Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferred in communications, customer relations or marketing.
Knowledge of public sector market dynamics (including the Title X family planning program and 340B drug pricing program) and reimbursement and payer dynamics (e.g. Medicaid).
Experience representing company at conferences and other external events.
Experience conducting external educational events.
Experience managing customer relationship marketing information; Salesforce experience a plus
Strong, articulate communication skills (phone, email, in person) and relationship building skills; able to interact and build trust and confidence with different stakeholders audiences and able to relate well to individuals at all levels.
Goal oriented; able to proactively identify and work through opportunities or obstacles independently.
Good analytical, planning and reporting/documenting skills.
Good project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Travel required, approximately 30-40% (Local/National).
