WSF LIve are hosted screenings of World Science Festival live-streamed programs. We work with partners around the globe to organize and enhance these screenings with on-site presentations, discussions and related events with local experts.
Position Description:
The Production Assistant will offer administrative and creative support for WSF Live. Working closely with the Partnership team to ensure deadlines are met, the Production Assistant will possess strong communication, organizational and research skills.
Responsibilities include:
Research, identify, call and contact national and international partners for WSF Live
Coordinate marketing and promotional campaigns for WSF Live
Manage WSF Live partner database
Work with web team on managing WSF Live website
Additional research as needed
Requirements:
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, especially on the phone
Ability to work under deadline pressure
Highly organized and able to handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks
Self-starter able to work independently or as part of a team
Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office products
Researching potential participants
Keeping program materials, schedules, databases and other administrative documentation up to date
Other duties as assigned
Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Production Assistant or in Event Planning
This is a Fixed Term position. Immediate start.
