HR Assistant – Washington – The Choice Inc

Job description
Our office is seeking an individual to provide key Human Resources support at one of the most prestigious conservation nonprofits in Washington, DC. This position will be providing seasonal HR support during an upcoming busy spring and summer season.

We are looking for someone with flexible availability, and at least 1-2 years of previous Human Resources experience. Prior experience using an HRIS would be preferred. Administrative experience is a plus.

Key position responsibilities will include:
Assisting with payroll functions
Employee benefit administration
Drafting employee verification requests
Other HR administrative projects as assigned. Will be supporting VP-level executives.

Desired Skills and Experience We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
A completed degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
1-2 years of Human Resources support
Prior experience using HRIS system
Excellent data entry skills
Full proficiency in MS Office
