-answer, screen, transfer phone calls to the appropriate staff member
-greet public and clients and direct them to the correct staff member
-maintain office filing and storage systems
-update and maintain employee information in database
-retrieve information when requested
-proficient with computer and a variety of office software applications including word processing, email, and file management. Prepare documents in Word from scratch or using predefined templates and form letters. Creates or maintains files in Excel.
-schedules interviews, scans files, make copies, assists with documents for new employee orientations, compiles materials and maintains employee database records.
-strong computer skills are a must, as is sensitivity to confidential matters.
-one year of business school training or related office work experience preffered
