Position: Recruitment Assistant
Reports To: Executive Director
This individual is to assist the Executive Director and Program Coordinator in program recruitment efforts including conducting criminal background checks, creating and maintaining member records, and providing resources to Site Directors for recruiting new members for the program.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting with the application and enrollment process, including but not limited to:
Completing the Statewide Criminal Background program process and FBI Checks.
Submitting loan forbearance forms/interest accrual forms and act as contact person for CNCS trust and loan companies.
Maintaining and updating member records, ensuring required paperwork is signed and filed in proper order.
Securing service descriptions for each NDA member from their Site Director to distribute verification letters.
Assisting in the recruitment process by:
Corresponding and developing strong working relationships with Site Directors, providing them with individual support and relevant resources for the recruitment of members for their site.
Corresponding with alumni, SNDs and targeted college personnel to enhance recruitment outreach.
Utilizing AmeriCorps recruitment process and Catholic Volunteer Network’s tools to seek and correspond with potential members.
Responding to telephone, mail, and e-mail inquiries from prospective members
Collaborating with the development of new and old recruitment tools:
Ensuring service descriptions are up to date on NDMVA Website
Updating recruitment brochures and other materials
OTHER DUTIES:
Provide regular reports.
Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
Help with recruitment, training and placement of volunteers at international sites.
