Chalice Oak Foundation (COF), a social justice project incubator/leadership and organizational development non-profit organization based in Southern California, has a part-time bookkeeping position available. The position would carryout various bookkeeping/accounting functions such as posting deposits/making payments, managing/updating COF’s Quickbooks program for both COF and COF’s fiscal sponsorship clients. Other duties include issuing financial reports/documents for clients and COF. The position compensation would be approximately $400 a month and work 20 hours a month. Candidates need to have a good working knowledge of Quickbooks and hold at a minimum an Associates Degree in Accounting. COF has a strong preference for individuals with a background working with non-profits. In addition, candidates need to be located in the Southern California area to be available to meet in person on a regular basis with COF’s Executive Director (though the position incumbent could work from home). The position incumbent would work with and report to the Executive Director.
