Creative Digital & Social Media Internship – Leaders for Good – San Francisco, CA

We’re looking for a ethical, smart, creative, tech-savvy person who would be happy to help us share what we’re doing with the world.

This position is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in leadership, communications, marketing, public relations and social media strategy. An interest in being in the forefront of a leadership paradigm shift that profoundly affects organizations & societies in positive ways — you have to care about what you’re doing, right?

Internship summary:

5-20 hours per week designing & implementing a strategic social media/digital content plan
3-month commitment starting in June, with the possibility of extension
Located in SF (cafes near Russian Hill, Financial District, Embarcadero); home work possible
$300 stipend, 3 executive coaching sessions, ongoing mentoring (if wanted)

Responsibilities

Leadership: Interact in an honest, transparent manner that nurtures trust & credibility
Strategy: Help design & implement a digital content & social media strategy that’s fun, creative & effective
Digital Media: Edit/troubleshoot in iMovie, upload & organize audio & video content on Youtube, LfG website; optimize LfG YouTube channel; post blogs, look for/find errors or inconsistencies across website/social media tools, etc. A plus, if you know/willing to learn Insightly (a CRM tool) to help manage lists & send out e-news
Social Media Outreach: use social media to create some buzz & loops that help people explore across media

Required Skills & Experience

Capable of being honest & “say what you do & do what you say”
Healthy questioning of the status quo
Skilled at managing time
Ability to work independently & interact professionally with others across teams
Strong working knowledge of best-practices & administrative mechanics of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Linked In, Google Analytics
Proficiency with Apple & Macintosh Keynote, Pages, iMovie; ideally, Adobe InDesgin & Photoshop, but not necessary
Skill in setting up videos; knowledge of Vine & Tout appreciated
Genuine interest in helping a start-up expand through social media & digital content
Natural attention to detail

About Leaders for Good: LfG is a leadership design boutique through which we empower leaders to solve organizational challenges by humanizing the world. We are a loose group of people who collaborate across projects, but you will be working with Eleni Pallas most of the time.
