We are a U.S.-based non-profit organization that funds and supports a Christian ministry to children at risk in Ecuador. We would like to hire a Development and Communications/Marketing-Promotion Coordinator to lead our fundraising, donor/supporter outreach campaigns, etc. You may work from home or other work environment. We will provide training for our Client Relations Management program.
Main responsibilities are in the field of Development: strategize and develop annual Fundraising Plan; discuss and provide input for annual budget; plan and lead a variety of fundraising campaigns; write monthly newsletter, write posts and manage social media platforms; improve supporter and donor relations; maintain Client Relations Management database (training will be provided); manage Child and Caregiver Sponsorship Programs; promote program growth, pepare reports to sponsors, etc.
A part-time assistant will be available to you to help with the above responsibilities.

Skills we’d appreciate in a candidate:

Two years of experience in a similar position involving communications, marketing, promotion, fundraising, grant writing or other element(s) of nonprofit development;

Intermediate to fluent Spanish language proficiency;
Familiar with management of social media platforms;
Clear, concise and creative writing and communication skills;
Experience with analyzing fundraising results, budgeting experience helpful;
Experience in donor/client relations management system and mass e-mail programs;
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, creative thinking.
