Now is your chance to be part of a growing special events team at an amazing organization. Made In Lowell seeks a highly motivated, self-starting student who is energetic, a team player, results-oriented and dedicated to the achievement of personal and team goals. You will provide support to Made In Lowell’s event production team and gain valuable skills and insights on event planning, marketing and fundraising.

You will have the opportunity to participate in organizing a variety of different special events like The Lowell Food and Wine Festival, Chalk Fest, Craft Beer Tastings, and The Ball. You will work with seasoned professionals in our office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with planning and implementing of all special events.
• Assist with day-of-event volunteer recruitment and management (includes attending event)
• Organize, design and prepare event materials and communications including newsletters, email blasts, social media, phone calls, etc.
• Assists with mailings, filing, and other administrative tasks, as assigned.

Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week (work schedule flexible).
• The ideal candidate for this position will be an outgoing, detail-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong computer and phone skills are a must.
• Basic design skills are desirable (knowledge of Adobe programs are a plus)
