Executive Director – BEST Robotics Inc – Dallas, TX

An effective Executive Director is a key component in a successful non-profit organization. The board of directors sets vision and policy for the organization and the Executive Director assists the president and the board in implementing the policies and procedures of BEST Robotics Inc (BRI) and running its day-to-day operations. The Executive Director has primary responsibility for overseeing the regular operation of the organization to achieve its mission and serves as the first point of contact to the public, other organizations, and participants.

This will be a half-time position in the United States.

Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of BRI
Oversee and manage all BRI staff
Provide oversight and management of the execution of the annual BEST Robotics Program
Support volunteers, mentors, and participants at all levels within the organization
Develop and maintain relationships with partner organizations, sponsors, and government entities relevant to the mission of BRI
Manifest the vision of the BRI board of directors within the organization
Manage and coordinate the efforts of individual Hubs licensing the BEST Robotics program to deliver regional events
Serve as an ex-officio nonvoting member of the board and attend all board meetings and relevant BEST events

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of management experience
Demonstrated experience managing organization finances

Preferred Experience:

Experience with a non-profit organizations
Experience with STEM outreach efforts (preferably K-12)
Demonstrated success as a senior manager or director
