IT Associate, Technical Support – Illien Adoptions International Inc – Atlanta, GA

Illien Adoption International, Inc., a non-profit, international child welfare organization and division of Illien Global Families, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking to hire an IT Associate – Technical Support.

Applicant must have at least three years of experience, as well as three recent professional references.

Main responsibilities will include :

Installing and configuring computer systems,
Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
Analyzing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues,
The ability to generate and implement websites changes and updates.
Monitoring database performance, constantly improving its effectiveness,
Making sure the information is protected and backed-up,
Improving the technology used and/or, building new database(s) where/when needed,
Troubleshooting the data base and any desk/mobile system,
Monitoring data entry procedures + replicate backup substitute,
Ensuring all the data managed, complies with legal regulations,
Excellent problem-solving and organizational/analytical skills,
A good understanding of the Data Protection Act,
A willingness to keep up to date with developments in technology,
The ability to work quickly, under pressure and under TIGHT deadlines,
Providing status updates to the CEO and other staff,
A good understanding of database architecture, software, hardware and, database management systems
Other tasks deriving from the main tasks mentioned above, may sometime occur.

Good Team-Working skills, and On-Call availability for emergency situations are essential.

Social Media knowledge would be a PLUS.

You are responsible for the maintenance, performance, integrity and security of our database and your job includes maintaining, updating/improving existing databases and building new systems, whenever possible and, where such systems are needed/justified.

You are expected to know/understand what our database consists of, what it is used for, who will use it, and what system(s) it will link to, as well as ensure proper and timely action/follow-up upon such knowledge/understanding.

You are responsible for ensuring a constant, smooth flow of secured information throughout our database, while ensuring proper data-back-up, and that the database is constantly having an adequate storage.
