Roundabout Theatre Company—one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit cultural institutions—is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Operations Manager who will oversee all aspects of Roundabout’s IT infrastructure and operations.
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Manager’s role is to provide leadership for developing and implementing IT initiatives as directed by the Director of Information Technology. Furthermore, the IT Operations Manager ensures that key technologies on which the organization relies are secure and resilient. Helping the Manager to realize these responsibilities are the Systems and Network Administrator, and the IT / Help Desk Analyst, both of whom will report directly to the Manager. The Manager will also work closely with the Database Administrator/Developer and the Website Administrator, ensuring the smooth operation of both our enterprise Application Support infrastructure and our Website infrastructure and those systems into which the website is integrated.
Roundabout Theatre Company is an events-driven organization, often having multiple shows and events running at our theatres six (6) or even seven (7) nights a week. Therefore, the nature of the organization requires that the Information Technology Department serve our theatres, as well as our administrative offices requiring frequent night and weekend work.

Responsibilities:
IT Operations Management
Oversees all aspects of the network, data center, end-user and help-desk operations, and phone system, being hands-on when necessary.
Supervise the Systems & Network Administrator and IT / Help-Desk Analyst, planning weekly work and schedules.
Design and manage major IT infrastructure projects, promoting current and new technologies that will help increase efficiency, resiliency, security, and end-user happiness.
Establish, improve, and evolve IT processes and procedures, helping streamline IT operations and ensuring consistency of service and support.
Schedule and manage routine network and server maintenance.
Execute and improve Roundabout’s IT Disaster Preparedness Plan
Maintain PCI-DSS compliance.
Solution Analysis
Evaluate and plan for the installation of networking and server hardware and software.
Work closely with the Director of Information Technology to budget for and purchase hardware and software.
Liaison with Department stakeholders to assess needs and new technologies on an ongoing basis.
Builds and maintains vendor relationships, helping the Director of Information Technology manage the purchase of hardware and software products
Documentation & Training
Establish and maintain IT knowledge base and documentation for both the organization and the IT team.
Identify training needs throughout the organization and, working with the Director of Information Technology, find ways to address those needs through documentation or in-person training sessions.
Working with the IT/ Help-Desk Analyst, maintain hardware and software inventories and licenses.

Qualifications
Expert knowledge of Microsoft products, including Windows server operating systems and enterprise solutions, Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office suite.
Advanced knowledge and experience working with data center and network hardware: switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, SAN and NAS storage, virtualization, etc.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
Able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated interest in staying on top of current trends in technology.
Able and willing to work after hours and weekends, in support of Roundabout’s primary mission
