We Work In: Redwood City, CA (with 8-12 weeks of international travel per year)
What We Do: We guide technology volunteers through immersive service learning opportunities with accredited non-profit organizations working to improve education in developing countries. We develop the projects, train the volunteers, and travel with them on two-week implementations – all with the goal of building 21st century skills for the students we serve and the volunteers themselves.
Over the past two years, we have deployed 100+ volunteers from 12 companies including Intuit, VMware, Facebook, Box, Autodesk and others, on 14 projects in 7 countries, benefitting 10,000 students and teachers. Click here to read more about our exciting projects.
What You’ll Do:
Work in a dynamic, start-up-like environment
Source and scope non-profit projects that meet our criteria
Collaborate with non-profit clients to define great project plans and evaluation metrics
Manage volunteer training and preparation process for 4-6 projects per year
Lead 4-6 teams per year on two-week implementations in developing countries
You’re Great At:
Developing and managing projects from initial concept to execution, with a keen eye for details
Living and working in developing country environments
Leading senior executives on project implementations
Our 5 core leadership skills: Global Mindset, Critical Thinking, Extreme Collaboration, Creative Problem Solving and Effective Communication.
You Need:
An MBA or equivalent graduate degree in education, public policy or relevant discipline
At least 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in the technology sector
