Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other similar duties may be assigned.
FIN Project Coordination & Community Advocate Support: Assist with scheduling, meeting preparation and follow-up for Food Innovation Network (FIN) related meetings and activities, act as liaison between steering committee, working groups, and outreach staff, coordinate calendars of community advocate meetings, provide assistance with advocate training preparation, assemble training materials, maintain and support program filing systems, assist with data collection and management, review FIN grant budgets and track expenditures with the G2L finance department.
Manage FIN Social Media/External Communication: Help to establish and support uniform correspondence procedures and style practice, manage the Organization Activity and Events calendar, develop external communications protocols including creating an E-Newsletter template, set up contacts database, assist with planning for social media infrastructure – Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, G2L website and other similar media outlets.
Leadership Program Coordinator: Serve as main point of contact and coordinator for all G2L community leadership development activities. Work with G2L Leadership Consultants to oversee recruitment and development of 15-20 community members, providing scheduling of events and other coordination with city agencies, fulfill City of Tukwila and SeaTac (and any other funders as applicable) reporting requirements in a timely manner, review leadership grant budgets and track expenditures with the G2L finance department.
General Employee Responsibilities
Attend all staff meetings, trainings and other applicable team activities, review and respond to email and telephone communication each work day. Demonstrates a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of Global to Local and its program delivery including the ability to integrate G2L values into programs and services.

Education/Experience:
College degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience working within similar populations. Prior experience in program planning and coordination and consultant and/or employee management required. Other combinations of experience and education may be considered.
Technical Abilities:
Valid WA State Driver’s License, current liability insurance, willing to use personal vehicle for G2L outreach activities, Bilingual/multilingual strongly preferred, advanced level MS Office products (Outlook, MS Word, Excel) and experience with client data tracking database entry and reporting preferred.

Benefits: 97% Employer paidMedical, Dental, Vision, LTD/STD, ADD, Life & IRA Match:Available 1st of month after hire. Employer pays for employee benefits only, some dependent coverage available at employee cost. 10 Paid holidays, generous PTO bank based on seniority starting at 17 days per year.
Schedule: As agreed upon in writing with Executive Director and dependent on community events, G2L meetings and other activities.
