Congressional Schools is seeking a paid social media intern to assist with our social media presence and digital advertising platforms. Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-driven, flexible and capable of excelling at both individual and group work. A strong writing background and experience with videography and video editing is required. The ideal candidate will also have experience with multiple social media platforms, online advertising and have access to their own filming or photgraphy equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Videography

Capture video of campers and staff to fulfil video requests of Marketing & Camp Director

Edit and Publish videos using Final Cut Pro or other professional video editing service

Catalog all videos for current and future uses

Develop and write compelling content to engage audiences on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more.

Innovation & Research

Find new opportunities for engagement and promotion of Congressional’s programs.

Online Advertising

Develop and propose plans for paid advertising for Congressional programs on facebook, google, yahoo and other avenues.

Assist Marketing & Camp Director as assigned.
