Voto Latino is looking for a Visual Design Manager to join the team. This role will work closely with the VP of All Things Digital in the Washington, DC office. Applicants must have a seasoned design portfolio with experience in both web-based graphic design and print. A familiarity with email marketing is a plus. This position plays a key role in creative strategy and development, which requires attention to detail and forward thinking.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
Bachelor’s degree or higher in fine arts, graphic design or related field
Proficient in CSS and HTML; solid knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Fireworks and Illustrator
Experience designing outstanding emails, web and social media graphics
Strong project management skills
Ability to think and work independently and achieve results with minimal input or supervision
Video production skills are a plus
Responsibilities
Design conception, development and presentation – ability to review solutions to meet organization goals and objectives
Design and produce creative designs digital and print for a variety of social media platforms and events
Review, manage, and follow weekly/monthly production schedules
Maintain overall appearance, consistency with organization branding and strategy
Lead design team on design direction and workload
Collaborate with other departments and management team on projects
Responsible for design quality and accuracy
Research and be cognizant of design and technology trends
