Organization Description
Night of Peace Family Shelter, Inc. provides year-round emergency shelter for homeless families with children in Baltimore County. Our goal is to provide food, shelter, and support in a safe environment while families work to transition into permanent housing. This is a 15 hour work week position for a minimum of three months. The selected candidate will:
Learn GiftWorks donor software
Log donations and send acknowledgment letters
Prepare reports and queries of volunteers to create mailing and call lists
Maintain a volunteer database
Assist the Volunteer Coordinator to plan the annual volunteer appreciation event
Minimum Requirements
Successful candidate will be good with details and a quick learner. We would like someone who is mature and responsible with the ability to work well independently and with others. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs is a must.
