Westbury Friends School seeks part time Art Teacher who can commit to teaching one day per week. Hours are 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. Day of the week is flexible.

Responsibilities include:
Create lesson plans for students ages 3-7 years that foster creativity and a love of art.
Teach students about various artists and art styles.
Create lesson plans that involve various mediums and materials.
Demonstrate initiative.
Be professional, warm and kind in interactions with children, co-workers, and families.
Have excellent administrative, organizational, and record keeping skills

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education or a related field and at least two years of classroom experience preferred.
