We provide quality, effective services that deepen connections between family members, within schools, and among neighbors. A leading NYC non-profit that has been recognized for its commitment to the success of young people and families, is currently seeking a Benefits Coordinator for our Human Resources Department located in Manhattan.
The Benefits Coordinator primarily administers employee benefits. The Benefits Coordinator also provides generalist support to the Human Resources Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree plus one to three years of full-time experience administering a comprehensive benefits program.
Proven customer/client service sensibility and ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
Capability to transition easily between working independently with high degree of self-initiative and contributing as part of a team.
Demonstrated competence in verbal, written, organizational and prioritization skills.
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, email and scheduling software. Knowledge of iVantage and/or Crystal Reports a tremendous plus.
Able to use public transportation throughout New York City for travel to Good Shepherd locations.
