SOCIAL WORK OPPORTUNITY

HELP USA, a nationally recognized leader in the provision of transitional housing, residential and social services has job openings and is looking to hire several motivated and committed applicants, for its new Franklin Women’s Shelter located in the Bronx. Applicant selected to fill these positions, will be responsible for providing clinical and support services to single adults to help them return to fiscal stability and obtain permanent residency.
Positions Available Include: Director of Social Services
Educational Requirements and Position Responsibilities:
Applicants for:
DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL SERVICES – must have a Master’s in Social Work/Counseling or Master’s in a related subject area with a minimum of 5 years case management supervisory experience required; will oversee the operations of the social services department that provides services to affected clients.
Other Qualifications/Requirements for all positions indicated above include:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus;
Computer literacy specifically with Microsoft applications required;
Knowledge and understanding of team concepts preferred;
Prior experience in the area of housing and homelessness preferred.
