Dynamic HR Management Role – Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation – Woodside, NY

SASF seeks an experienced human resource professional ready to take part in leading our organization through a period of significant change and growth. The role requires a proven functional leader with experience establishing human resource policies, processes and dynamic workforce deployment systems. The role will work with various members of the field, office and executive management teams to continually improve the organization’s capability to competitively acquire, retain and develop human capital. This key management role will be integral in forming and implementing workforce plans and strategies for the agency as well as fully accountable for overseeing the administration required to operate those plans on a daily basis. In collaboration with the leadership team, the individual in this role is expected to provide the critical thinking, analysis and support necessary to ensure that solutions anticipating and responding to the organization’s changing needs are in place.

We seek a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience with several years spent developing and implementing processes/change in a quick paced and growth oriented work culture; a key people management role in a non-profit setting is a strong plus. Successful candidates must demonstrate:

A proven record of success in implementing change, improving processes and capabilities within a large scale organization.
Experience building and leading an HR operation to deliver consistently excellent service.
Ability to inspire trust and teamwork; motivate staff to work diligently and well together.
An inclination toward action and results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capability to work with all constituents internal and external to a business enterprise including Boards, public agencies and business services partners.
