Today we continue to be one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most enduring and respected institutions. Each year, the SF SPCA’s no-kill shelters find homes for more than 5,000 dogs and cats and its animal care center provides veterinary care to thousands of animals. As a community supported nonprofit, not affiliated with any national organization, our innovative programs and services serve as models for humane organizations across the country and around the world. Voted one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area, the SF SPCA has a talented staff of 320, 1,600 dedicated volunteers, two campuses in San Francisco, and a $33 million budget.
