Overview: The full-time Project Manager will oversee the big picture and daily operation of a momentous Capital Campaign taking place at Vida Verde. This is a very exciting and special project that will historically and significantly improve an already awesome organization. An ideal candidate has prior work and project management experience, is collaborative, focused, driven, extremely organized, detail oriented, and skilled at managing a team. Although this job will be managing a capital campaign, prior campaign experience is not necessarily required, as our long-term consultant will be leading the overall fundraising strategy for the campaign.
Work environment: Vida Verde is a highly professional and dynamic nonprofit organization. Our office is located at Hidden Creek, alongside our educational farm in rural San Gregorio California. Hidden Creek is often abuzz with activity as instructors, students, farm hands, volunteers and many other from our community are working to support our mission.

Ability to troubleshoot routine computer issues as they arise.
Requirements: 1. 32-40 hours per week 2. Work on site at least 3 days per week, in rural San Gregorio 3. Report directly to the Development Director 4. Most hours needed during regular business hours; Work up to 1 wkd day/evening per week at team & donor meetings/events
Responsibilities: Coordinate the entire campaign project, via the strategy laid out by the Campaign Leadership Team, by directly executing actions or ensuring that the team does.Specifically: 1. Manage and oversee all campaign systems and protocols. 2. Track and motivate all donor interactions through the campaign “Moves Management” system. 3. Information Management & Communication: all donor information, donor research, meeting notes, grant reports, budgets, collateral, tracking of gift commitments, receipt and acknowledgements, campaign progress reports and driving the PR. 4. Manage and maintain relationships with both the hired and volunteer campaign team. 5. Manage the logistics: oversee donor and campaign leadership meetings, events, conference calls, etc. Communicate logistics to all parties and coordinate with all site and program needs. 6. Work collaboratively, creatively and vigilantly with the Development Director and Executive Director to ensure all deadlines regarding donor relations are met. 7. Assist in hiring team members, and be solely responsible for managing the campaign staff team. 8. Use clear, concise and direct communication with all team members
