Community Education Alliance of West Philadelphia (CEAWP) is a collaboration between community based charter schools and a social service non-profit working in tandem to serve our students. Our unique partnership addresses not only the academic needs of our students, but also the social emotional barriers that often impede academic success. We strive to equip each of our students with the resources necessary for gaining the skills that will allow them to become successful and productive members of society. We are currently in need of:
1 Special Education Teacher/Building Special Education Coordinator
Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years teaching experience, and will have worked previously in urban settings. In addition to possessing a genuine passion for children, candidates must be highly motivated and work well in a team environment. Special Education Coordination experience is a plus.
Required Interested candidates must complete all PA clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) an acceptable Criminal Record Check from the Pennsylvania State Police (Act 34), and FBI Criminal Background Check and Act 168 release form.
PA Special Education Certification Required.
