Located in northeast Baltimore, MD, City Neighbors High School is a member of a progressive public charter school network serving students in grades 9-12. We are currently seeking teachers to promote academic, social-emotional and behavioral growth for our students in the following subject areas for Fall 2015:

English
Music
Social Studies
Science

As a teacher at City Neighbors High School, this candidate would become a part of our middle school team as well as our professional learning community.

Candidates must be certified to teach desired content area in the State of Maryland. An ideal candidate would possess the following:

a belief that knowing one’s content alone is not enough to fully contribute to the team;
a team-player mindset to the whole high school’s learning community as well as his/her department;

professional experience and a strong desire to work with young adolescents;

experience working with/or having grown up in an urban setting;

a creative, enthusiastic, reflective and flexible disposition; and

a knowledge of project based learning, arts integration and/or the Reggio approach.
