Positions: 2
Reports to: NRI Site Manager
Location: This position is based in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties
The volunteers, donors and homeowners who join with us at Greater San Francisco’s Habitat for Humanity share a belief: hard work and success go hand in hand. Every day, we do what Habitat does best around the globe.
But we do it right here in a very Bay Area way, by coming up with inventive solutions to our area’s expensive real estate challenges. Because when we invest in our neighbor’s quest to become a homeowner, it benefits the whole community.
AmeriCorps Construction Crew Leaders will enable Habitat Greater San Francisco to rehabilitate homes and community facilities through the Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NR). Habitat Greater San Francisco’s new strategic direction goes beyond simply rehabilitating homes, but also rehabilitating community facilities in focus neighborhoods near current and future Habitat developments. NR Construction Crew Leaders will complete home and facility repairs and will be responsible for all aspects of construction including demolition, framing, painting, finish carpentry, and landscaping. By renovating community facilities and owner occupied homes, NR Construction Crew Leaders will enable us to increase our impact in our partner families’ communities.
